Saint-Brevin-les-Pins to Herbignac

Started the day with the ominous Saint-Nazaire bridge 🌉 It didn’t seem ominous before I rode it! 🚲 I was expecting a cycle way … not just 3ft & a white line! Most traffic had nowhere to go, so it’s your 3ft & best you stay in it 😐 I hardly admired the view!

… WWII German U-Boat pens, Saint-Nazaire. Amazing construction. It dominants the harbour 🚢 Either way, it’s historical. It now houses a cruise ship lifeboat training school, a museum to ocean liners, an expo centre, a café & tourism office ☕ #France

… The ship yards contained 3 cruise ships in various stages of build! Obviously, business is still looking good! But I guess these orders would’ve been placed many moons pre-pandemic.

… Ended the day with an excellent #wildcamp spot amongst the firns 🤠

… I’ve never been seen (that I know of!) in my bucket until this evening 🤣 Water bottle pre heated. I crawl out of my tent naked. A white torso with half brown legs & arms. I see movement above me. There’s a couple 👫 moving across the ridge line
